This campaign has the objective to convert a visitor, especially first time visitor into a customer by offering the 15% OFF discount on their first purchase.
To create a coupon, login to your OptinMonster dashboard and you’ll find “Create Campaign” button. Click on that button.

Next, you’ll have to choose a campaign type. Let’s select the first one – Popup. It’s a lightbox popup.
After clicking that you’ll have to choose one of the templates. I think there are over 30 templates that are professionally design to choose from. Pick the ones you like and go from there.
We’re going to model the template above, so we need to pick that Coupon style template. If you just search for it on the search box, you’ll find it.
You can even click it to preview it and then click on Use Template.

To change the background color of your coupon popup, you can head over to Optin Settings and find Optin View Styles.
Click on the Design Tab on the top.
To change the background color use the hex codes. Use the color picker to pick the color and find the hex code and paste it.

Now to the button formatting and customizing. Click on the submit button. You’ll then see the Editing Fields Element menu on the left panel.

Step 3: Set Up Coupon Code Delivery.
Now that the basic design is done. Now when the visitors enter their email addreses, you need to send them or given the coupon code they can use.

Show them immediately on the next page (success message) or send it via email. To send it via email, you need to connect your email service provider and you can write that email and set it up for automation on the backend.

In order to set a display rule to your visitors, you’ll need to click on the display settings on the top.
You need to think of offering a welcome offer to new visitors and if someone leaves try to close them with a different offer.
Once you click on the Display Rule tab on the top menu bar, you’ll be able to set one immediately.
Go ahead and make the changes now.
First let’s aim to offer a coupon to new visitors like a welcome coupon.

Create Coupon Popups For Shopify & WooCommerce Stores.
The coupon code templates works on all types of store and now we’ll show you how to do it both on WooCommerce and Shopify.
Creating Coupon Codes on WooCommerce.
In order to use this feature, create a WooCommerce account and sign up.
Next you should install the WooCommerce for WordPress plugin. Then activate it.
Now if you scroll down and see the left panel, you’ll see WooCommerce, if you find Extensions, click on it.
Search for URL Coupons. Then you’ll have to install that.
Just purchase that extension. Now you should create a coupon URL. Click on Coupons tab on the left under the WooCommerce menu.

Creating unique URL coupon codes with Shopify is super easy. Just head over to the dashboard and follow along.
On the left panel, you’ll be able to see Discounts tab. Click on it.
On the top right, you’ll see Create Discount button. Click on it to create one.
Now, what you’ll be prompted is the following.
Option 1: Discount code.
Option 2: Automatic discount.
Let’s select Discount code to see how to do that.
If you want you can modify this when you click on it. Add the Coupon code name, select type and add the value.
Finally, at the bottom you’ll have to click on Save Discount Code button.
