Let’s take a look at inside your Google Analytics account.
From within your Google Analytics account, you will be able to generate a lot of reports that showcases your website traffic sources.
Follow these steps or you might get lost with all the links and panels inside your account.
Our focus now is get customer traffic sources, so log into your Google Analytics account and then head over to Acquisition >> All Traffic >> Channels.
Look at the image below so click the right links on the left panel.
Now you’re able to see which channels are driving the most traffic to your website. Let the numbers speak for itself.
In the image above there is more organic search coming in.
Also if you want to know the sources, head over to or click on Source/Medium report under All Traffic. This helps you see even more narrower data.

Let me now show you how to find traffic sources when they look up for specific pages. I mean let’s find out which specific pages gets the most traffic.
Google Analytics Traffic Sources For A Specific Page
Google Analytics shows you the traffic sources of specific pages inside your account.
To see it, just click on Behavior >> Site Content, this is where you’ll find specific page traffic data. I’ve selected landing page so you can see where they land finally.
Below is an example that is self-explanatory. If you don’t understand, please comment below and I’ll help you understand.
There are so many different settings on the top, but just follow along and you’ll get the jist of what I mean.
From the top find where is Secondary Dimension and click on it, then in the search type in Source/Medium, it will populate some results, now you should be able to find it under Acquisition.
Now that you’ve learned how to filter it, you will be able to see a list landing pages.
So traffic source is “where visitors were before clicking on your website”, and the medium, is “how your visitors arrived at your website”. Does this make sense? We just selected Source/Medium so that’s the result you wanted in the first place.
